Golden memories wil never Come back!!!!!

"My mother said I must always be intolerant of ignorance but understanding of illiteracy. That some people, unable to go to school, were more educated and more intelligent than college professors.”

School days, I believe, are the happiest in the whole span of human existence. Most of us would agree that d days spent in school are/were certainly the best days of our lives. It’s in school that we make our first friend, have our first crush, compete to excel, hope for places in the sports teams, eating lunch boxes during classes, and learn our first lessons about life.

For those whose school is now forever OVER, I still can’t get over it -I feel like I’ll be going back next year and seeing all the same people, but I won’t be one of them! I’m happy and sad about graduating (Post graduating though :) ); I guess that’s how most people feel. Those who are in school think that when I will grow up and go to college but believe me when u will be in the college u will get bored with the narrow mindedness of your batch-mates, politics, racing against time. Really school days are the golden days.

People called it SCHOOL …we called it LIFE
SCHOOL DAYS…..

How did it get over so soon? Its night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flown. Why did it get over so soon?

What’s the best part of school life? Some would vouch for the great education, the great learning experience, the knowledge sharing, and other such scholarly pursuits. But many would admit that the best part of school life is all the fun one has. These funny school quotes will take you on a trip down the memory lane. Share them with your school buddies and renew old ties.

Don’t know why I am remembering the time spent in my school and college so much these days. The kind of moments I shared with some of my best buddies were truly the most innocent days of my life, in fact in everyone’s life.

May be the tedious office hours, the monotonous behavior and lifestyle and the cold shoulders even amongst so-called best mates is allowing us to remember the innocent times of the past, times which would NEVER come back ever again!

We often miss our school or college days because we touch very strong to our school and we never forget those days. I feel pain in my heart too!!! Wish I could go back to live in those golden days ….

Any way to remind school memories, the following that would have experienced by every individual who miss da childhood :(
Hesitation of sitting between the opposite gender
Bus stand comedies..
Last period cuts..
Birthday chocolates..
Last minute preparation..
Over Night study for the next exam..
Friend’s family functions....

Today I've tears in my eyes when I remember those Golden days …but they never comeback that’s the truth of life …. So FRIENDS….live for today… because present never come back …..!!

Many joys come and go but friendship is forever
After passing out of Vishwangala High School, Konaje, Mangalore in the year 2001, anxiety, excitement regarding each one's future separated all friends from one another that studied together, played together, bullied each other and what not. Some pursued higher education while some took up driver's seat in their family business, and some moved on to different cities or Countries. None of them had any clue about each other....except few that occasionally stayed in contact with one another.

Years passed by and each one of them moved on helplessly surrendered to the challenges in their life with wonderful memories of school days buried under the ash.

None imagined that one fine day the good memories of their School days would haunt them back till they realized that Old friends are the best antiques. Friend ship that stood on no condition. Friend ship that never expected anything in return other than fun and cheer. Friend ship that would last forever.

After 10 years, it was the time that decided a Grand Reunion was due and bring in some crazy moments back in everyone's life.

A social gathering in City Center warming ceremony triggered the reunion event. Message spread out like Australian bush fire and each one started pooling in contacts that they had and the list started growing.

A formal announcement through SMS and Social Networks resulted in a gathering at City Center on March 26th 2011.

Meeting friends after a decade was nostalgic. Each one of them could feel the love and affection that their friends had for them even after 10 years despite each one had grown up beyond recognition.

A day event ended up till night at 8 and none noticed that it was that late.

Reality reminded everyone that they had to go home but everyone promised each other that they would stay in touch quite often as possible. Each one left the hall with a heavy heart that had become lighter for couple of hours.

Wel the most awaited pics of our Gettogether is posted in the below link and the same link being shared in facebook

Thanks to All School days buddies for being part of this Grand Reunion

Childhood Friendship - Should be written in GOLDEN words

Childhood friends are forever! Examples of such friendships are galore where a childhood friend has forsaken everything for his friend. Such friendships never blossom as we mature and grow old. The friendship that develops between two friends in school or through living in the same locality, often goes on to become everlasting and is never broken by any outside force. I am still in touch with my childhood friend from school and he is like a pillar of support to me. He lives in a different city, but we keep in touch through phone, letter and email. He also makes it a point to come down at my place in holidays or during special occasions. The bond that forms between two childhood friends is unbreakable. Such friendships are intuitive, where one friend understands the mind of the other. Do you have a childhood friend who makes your life worth living? If yes, do share your friendship thoughts with me.

Coorg Wedding

The Coorg bride wears a traditional brocade sari draped in the typical Coorgi style. The bridal sari is handed down from generation to generation as an heirloom since it is supposed to bring good luck. A veil covers the bride's head. The groom wears an ornamental robe on top of a calf-length under garment. He also puts on a churidaar, fitting trousers. The turban on the head imparts a majestic look.Marriage ceremonies are performed without a Brahmin or puja. The elders bless the newly married couples. The dowry system is an unknown concept here. A unique characteristic is the serving of non-vegetarian dishes and liquor in the weddings of the Kodava community, which is rare among the Hindu community. The Coorg wedding is perhaps the only Hindu wedding ceremony where alcohol, dancing and meat eating, especially pork, are a must.A traditional Kodava wedding will have all the youngsters and the young at heart attired in the Kupya dress, dancing to beat of drums (VALAGA). Special Pork or Pandhi Curry and liquor keep the spirits high. The Kodava or Coorgi Wedding is unique and cannot be compared with any other community in the country. This is just the breaf information and there is lots and lots more that happens on the wedding day.

Have I really changed from 2006-Till Date???????????????

Luk into my Physical Attraction from 2006 to till date, have I really changed??? The time will decide.

Beginning - The flow of process to End

Most of the time, we start a new journey or activity with initial apprehensions or reservations along with positive thoughts. As we progress further in the activity or indulge more, we start getting hints if it is going to be accomplished as planned. Initial hiccups and setbacks though are the stepping stones for the success they also decide how well these are addressed and the vibes (positive or negative) they send.

If the stepping stones are not laid properly, it is sure to fail the success one day, isn’t it? Imagine a series of steps. If a couple of steps are not proper, you can adjust with them to move up and down. But if the steps are laid dangerously, they will definitely cause a fall.

Similarly, as we progress in the activity selected, we start realising how soon or later it is going to come to an end. Of course, there will be some major decisions; surprises that might lead you to a decision to end the activity, but most of the times the decision to end will not be a complete surprise. Small, sometimes ignorable experiences/feelings through-out that period will aid the surprise and decision to end the activity.

So, beginning actually is a beginning to an end, right?

Money Matters.......

I never planned what I do then, but thought someday it may exist from mind. I didn’t wonder, because I know the bud one day will bloom into flower, but what seems is will it fragrance or not. Certainly it’s unpleasant to me, because the matter is of money. Though I am unemployed so does money seems idle to me, where it comes through is not from my hard work or brilliance. I think is there no life without money? And more than any relationship does money distributes the silence and peace? I felt am nothing in the world, what I do survive seems dump, but there is only hope and evidence my parents. And much glad even more than anyone there are friends whom truly care and love for what us. I learn what friendship means from my dad and his friends, apart from the values they support certainly foremost. I see much evidence in past what glimpse that money is nothing a matter at all when it comes to caress. I strongly believe there is no powerful than human and nature. Everything got a price in this world and even we move beyond for that to simply missing the most.

Lasting Travel

The lasting travel to exist gone to be one of my dreams on heaven, not the one in slumber, it’s always a desire and excite. I don’t know whether it would fill my thirst on nature or not, but showering is unexpected in this ever drizzling state thus also a bond to traveling. I heard and viewed stories of traveling about into these remaining ideals in world and wild, which expect me tranquil and untouched pollute. The browsing gone from time to time when travel comes closer, but like the cyclones directions to turn near closing ashore. Wish we don’t disturb the peace and leave my space for excitement.

Tech @ its best

Of all kinds of interviews, the one I detest most, has to be the "Phone Interview". For once, I really wish technology hadn't advanced that much.

For one, you're worried sick all day. You're too scared to sleep coz you might just miss the phone call and with my history of missing calls, I can't let go of my cellphone even for a minute.

It's amazing.. the kind of things you think of, while waiting for that dreaded call.

What if, your interviewer on the other end, puts you on the speaker phone.. and you are totally oblivious to his entire project team crowding around the phone, listening to you fumbling, trying to explain the fundamentals of Object Oriented Programing. I can just picture them, holding on to their sides, bursting into squeals of laughter ..and if that team is anything like the previous team I worked in, this topic would be the butt of all jokes for weeks to come.. over breakfast, lunch and dinner.

What if, in my frenzy to comprehend the question, forget to put on an american-like accent and instead come out with the worst possible kandu accent.. "excuse me.. i didn't get you i say..Verilogaaa..Codingaaa?" At that very instant, a reject letter would be mailed out to me.

What if, I had a girlfriend, and she chose that very moment to let me know how much she missed me by giving me a spate of missed calls. (Aww.. so sweet! but this is NOT a good time!! ).

I should perhaps be studying for the interview right now rather than worrying myself with inconsequential things. Bbye..

How important a currency is.....???

Ever seen a house full of newspapers? Well, ours was one of them. My dad had this newspaper obsession. Not a single article went unnoticed by him. He read and reread every article from the first page to the last, including the sports page. He couldn't tell a wide-ball from a no-ball, but he'd know how much VVS Laxman scored in his last test match against Bangladesh. He is , without exaggeration, a newspaper encyclopaedia.

Anyway, he'd never let us discard newspapers. Governments would have changed, constitution would be amended, a whole new generation of khans and kapoors would have sprung up, but Dad the dearest would still hold on to newspapers of the previous decade. After a month of arguments and another 2 weeks of cutting out his favourite articles, it'd be time to call 'paper uncle' as i fondly refered to the raddiwala.

He'd come, on a Sunday morning, armed with a big brown gunny sac and a broken rusted piece of instrument, which he claimed, was a measuring spring. This was probably the only time, you'd find me active at home. It was understood that every penny earned out of selling these newspapers would go directly into my piggy bank. So i'd hunt every nook and corner of our house in search of old newspapers, books, magazines etc.

Here's the conversation between a 7 year old(me) and the 50 year old paper uncle.

paper uncle: 50ps per kg
me : 60ps per kg.. pleaaaaaase uncle! (now u know why i suck at bargaining)
paper uncle: jaasti paper illa ( not enough paper)
me : ishtondu TIMES, WEEK magazines ide ( so many heavy colour magazines)
paper uncle: illa magu, colour paper thumba kadime rate ( no baby, colour paper gets me the least amount)

GRR.. how he conned me into thinking all those magazines were a complete waste!
Refusing to give up and with a strong desire to fill up my piggy bank,i rummaged a li'l more and finally came out with my social studies, kannada and math text and notebooks. Little did paper uncle know that they werent' the previous years' text books. I was so close to selling them off, when my dad came out for a routine survey. Damn!

And then came that dreaded dialogue.. "Somebody gonna get hurt real bad"!!

As for what happened next, you might have guessed, that i had to take all those books back and promise to never try selling text books again. I made a measly Rs.20 profit. But what the heck, it was enough to buy loads of those round orange candies worth 5ps each. :)
